Okay...so I didn't really fly all the way back to New York one week later. But, I did manage to see another show! =)
I met up with my friend, Will, at a yummy
Indian restaurant in North Hollywood before seeing our friend, Adam, perform in
The Kid From Brooklyn.
The musical is based on the life of Danny Kaye...star of stage and screen...and seemed like a more accurate biographical musical than the Andrew Jackson one I saw a month back. There were only two guys in the show...one played Danny Kaye...and Adam played every other guy associated with Danny Kaye. When I asked him what the count was...he said he played a total of 10 characters throughout the course of the musical. Pshaw! I think next time he should play at least an even dozen. ;)
