Tonight was a "blast from the past" of sorts. One of my friends from high school came back for a visit (she now lives in Europe). So I went to grab dessert with her, her husband and two other friends from high school. I had never met her husband...and I hadn't seen two of my three high school friends since our 10-year reunion...so it was great to finally get together.
We decided to head up Montana Ave. in Santa Monica...but our original destination was already closed for the evening. So, we stopped into
Rosti instead. I had been to Rosti for lunch on a couple occasions...but I had never ordered their desserts.
I don't know how their other desserts taste, but the creme brulee cheesecake was amazing! The other added touch was in its presentation. Seeing the sauces turned into artwork was wonderful in itself!
