Another day working from the house...so another trip to the back yard. But, since I had previously taken a picture of plants, I decided to go in search of something that didn't employ photosynthesis in order to thrive.
Most of the birds in the back yard flew away when I headed over there...but on bird remained. At times like this, I wish I had a uber-mega-zoom, but I think I still managed a clear enough shot. And I did like the way the birdie looked against the sky.
Also on this excursion, I found a big, black lizard hanging out on one of the walls. If anyone is a lizard expert, you can let me know what kind it is by looking at his mug
here.
But...since I found the bird cuter than the lizard...the winged creature made the cut on to my Project 365 photo of the day. ;)
