Day 142 - Mission Accomplished

Today was my third and final day of jury duty. Now that I've served on a jury, I give props to those 12-men teams that actually come up with a verdict. We ended up with a hung jury. As far as I could tell...you would be able to get the 12 of us to agree one way or the other.
After 3 days...I still hadn't taken a representative picture of the experience...so I asked the two deputies manning the entrance if I could take a picture of the California seal in the entryway.
I told them it was just for a blog...and as long as I took a picture of just the seal...and showed it to them after...it would be okay.
So...here it is...in all it's glory. Woo. =)
As much as I learned from the process and wouldn't be adverse to serving again in the future...I still hope it's some time before I see another jury summons in the mail. ;)

what? you had to SHOW the picture to them afterwards? that's stupid. who cares if you take a picture of the entrance? it's not like it's secret or anything - it's in plain public view....seriously....
