This evening I decided to go through some old boxes to see if I could eliminate further clutter in my home. In the process, I found some things I haven't seen in a while. I decided to photograph some of the more interesting items for nostalgic purposes...
On the lower left was a pin from the New Year's I spent at Disneyland. I don't know if I ever want to go through that again, since it was so much more crowded than usual. There wasn't any room to breath in the area on Main Street, facing Sleepy Beauty's castle. But, at least we got nifty party hats and ring in the new year with fireworks.
Upper left...my NFL pin. Nope...not that NFL...I'm just a football spectator. I'm talking about the
National Forensic League. Eight semesters of speech and debate in high school led me to the Ruby Distinction. I know...you're impressed. ;)
Center stage is a picture of me and some of my sorority sisters. We were all descended from the same founding member in our chapter (via big sisters...little sisters...if you were never in a fraternity or sorority...don't worry about the logistics).
On the right is another piece from my Willow Tree collection, that I talked about on
May 6. Did I mention how much I like these figurines? =)
