growing up in the midwest, we didnt really have "dome" theaters. Most of the theaters I went to were inside malls. But when we'd visit California, I'd see these dome theaters everywhere. i have a memory of going to one in the San Jose area as a kid. But it sure wasn't as nice as the Hollywood Cinerama Dome! This is a niiiiice theater, inside and out! Built in 1963, this theater has to be one of Hollywoods biggest icons. Photo taken 12/7/09
