This is the last station of our trip. We felt kind of in Thailand. Warm and everyone seemed relaxed. When we went to a market we saw fruits I couldnt tell the name nor the taste. We tried some (some were really tasty). From Jinhong we made several tours. One day we wanted to go to a market somewhere in the mountains, about 2 hours from Jinhong. We knew it was only in the morning, so we got up really early (since Korea I accustomed to the habit of sleeping on the bus) and took the bus who went to a small town nearby. We arrived there very early but found out that we had to wait 2 hours for the bus which went to the mountains. So we decided to take a minivan and we came closer. But then again we were stuck. So we hitchhiked and then we were in the middle of nowhere. Really nice fields, a few houses and far away in front of us the mountains. Finally we had to take the bus we didnt want to for and then it went up the mountains , went up, over hills, still we werent there.... After 1 hour, already lunchtime, we arrived... just to find out it was almost over and the market wasnt that interesting. We decided to return but the bus was already gone and it was the only one during that day... After having lunch with some Germans (they are everywhere ; ) we asked a truckdriver if he could take us down again. Luckily he did and so we were squeezed in the truck with 5 other people (chinese are so small). The other Germans stayed there and told us the next day (of course we met again in a foreigners backpack cafe) the landscape was nice but the "hotel" (very simple mattress in a room) wasnt so good because they slept next to the pigsstalls and heard them "chatting" allnight.
