Apart from when I was really little (I hardly remember) this was my first soccer match to watch. And it was great. Just to mention, Im not a soccer fan at all. I dont like watching soccer on TV: The ball seems so small and then it seems kind of boring figuring out why they run after the ball. But this time was different: The match was really interesting and they played so well, I forgot the time about it. And then the atmosphere was great: It seemed like in Germany, I ve never seen so many Germans in one place. And they sang all these soccer songs (Thomas knew them all: I would always ask him about the words: Could be good use for German class: very simple ; ) ). And then Germany won. I felt a little bit sorry for the Brazilians because I thought they could handle the ball really well and they gave their best.
After the game we saw soldiers (not recognisable, only the way they walk) coming out the stadion. I wondered how they would had behaved if they had something happened. The security control was more or less a joke: These doors you go through and made of course constantely beeping sounds but no one cared. Hopefully the security will be better at the olympics.
