You can see my blue tent close to the edge of the river. There aren't any crocs in this part of the river. They don't hang out in shallow water and there's no deep water here at all. Its only about 1 foot deep and its a nice clear visual to the sandy bottom - my favourites sort of river actually.

10.30.0am Breakfast Spring creek
Oats, almonds, apricots, milk sultanas
I am so slow this morning. I was quite exhausted and slowly going to recover over the course of today.[It took until about 2pm before i began feeling normal.]
My battery is now about to run out on my laptop. So I won’t be able to spend the whole day in my bed on my laptop.
It’s cold. Last night was freezing.
12.30pm: Lunch at Spring creek
Sultana dumpling in milk - pretty good actually.
1 cup wholemeal flour
2 spoons sultanas
2 cups milk
Bit of oil.
Mix and boil in boiling milk for about 25 minutes.
Finish off by frying on the hot plate. I should have rolled them in flour first though.
6pm: Dinner at Spring Creek
Spaghetti w tomato, cheese and olive oil
8.30pm Muffin bar offered to me by some other campers.
Earlier while ruffling through my food bags, I’d mentioned that I was just about out of rolled oats and so she offered me this for breakfast but I couldn’t wait.
A pleasant aussie dutch couple pulled up early in the day. And we shared a fire and chat in the afternoon. She was a textile artist. He a retired mechanic. An other couple joined us too. Both couples had not liked El Questro - “a dustbowl, rundown, ripoff” were the words both used. Although apparently it was a nice place in the past.
Also the nights have been near freezing and I decided I couldn’t tolerate being that cold again. I turned my drink bottle into a hot water bottle. [That was a good idea until one night I put too hot water in the bottle and this buggered up a seal. Luckily by that stage the cold spell had passed]

When camping I will gladly take our bear precautions over having to worry over crocs.
