I went swimming

The sort of shot you might get when you think you've set the self timer but haven't. As an accident, it came out rather well i thought and i look better from this angle anyway.

I had a go at fishing in here. I had to get into the water. So you can picture me standing there up to my thighs in the drink with a hook dangling around my ankles. I didn't have any bait but i remember using a raisin which attracted more attention than the bread and held better to the hook.

Can you see the pretty bird. This was as close as i could get alas.

1pm: Lunch at Adcock Gorge
Spaghetti
Sultana bun dumpling in 2 cups skim milk

Had a swim. Its a tiny bit nippy as you can see from my goosebumps. A family was there when I arrived. A father, neighbour, and son and girlfriend in three cars. This many vehicles seemed stupid to me.

In the afternoon, I went for a walk/run out to the main road, I could only run 5km. And my shoes are barely holding together. [I had the idea that because I had cycled so few kms today that I needed more exercise!]

Adcock gorge is very nice. Its one of the tiniest gorges. Camping is not allowed so I was the only one there - camping illegally. There was a large firepace already made. Not too many visitors and they didn’t come all at once so basically I felt I had the place to myself. It was just a short walk to the falls along the side of a lagoon.

A swiss woman stopped by for a while to chat. She told me about a bush tucker tour with some aborigines in Cape Leveque on a previous trip that cost $1000 [seemed a lot of money]. And later a guy from Esperance.

7pm: Dinner at Adcock gorge
Soup mix cooked with stock cube,
Chicken soup

I knocked over the billy with my soaking soup mix thus tipping out quite abit of my dinner.

It was overcast most of the day.
