Is this what a fish really sees?

2008.03.19
My first shot using the fisheye lens. Was trying to see how I could combine the secondary school on the left as well as the primary school on the right in the composition...

After a few shots, i decided to try it from an elevated location instead...

Distortion was really bad on the sides. Might have to crop the edges. However, the cones on the field is still pretty visible and not too badly distorted. I hope that it would be fine tomorrow when some 3500 students fill up the gaps to form the school badge.

Caution to all future fisheye subjects. NEVER twitch your nose before a shot is taken. (BTW, this is a self-portrait)

The fisheye lens makes my pimples and pores look bigger than they really are. REALLY!! It really isn't that huge!!!

I had the opportunity to use a fisheye lens. It was a 15mm fisheye lens.

I had to try it out because I'm gonna help shoot a rehearsal to form the world's largest human badge.

I'm really tempted to buy a fisheye lens. Very interesting distortions produced...
