Although they announced that photography wasn't allowed, I did ask an usher and she sayed what she didn't see wouldn't hurt her; and I managed to take these sneaky shots !
I had seen an advert in the paper giving the opportunity to apply for tickets to attend the recording of the TV show The Cube.
I have always been a fan of the show when it has been on- a great concept and always very entertaining if not engaging.
The premise of the show is hard to explain when I think about it though.
It centres around a large glass cube in which contestants enter to participate challenges in order to climb a scale of the potential cash rewards. The challenges can be physical (for example catching two balls simultaneously or throwing at a target;) or cognitive (such as remembering sequences or counting flashing lights.)
It was surprising how many people turned out to watch- and although I feel it was interesting to learn all their production secrets, in the end it began to get repetitive and routined.
I was chosen to sit right behind where the "family and friends " (of the contestants) so will no doubt see myself on the episodes that make it to air !!!
