I has heard rumours about it snowing here on Wednesday, which didn't eventuate; but on the weekend the officaial predictions turned out to be correct. At 6 PM on Saturday it was forecasted and pretty much on the dot it began.
It was light at first and almost unnoticable, but as the night went on, outside became a winter wonderland !!!
To begin with the snow seemed to appear from nowhere, but as it went on yoou were able to see the snowflakes descending in headlights and streetlights and on my arm when I extended it through the window.
I couldn't resist getting out there as it happened- it was it's best at about 10 PM; mainly because the forecast also speculated that it was going to be short lived.
Here are some shots I took that night, as it became brighter and brighter with the glittery, snowy carpet.
By the way, the white whisps of light across the photos is snowflakes shooting past the camera !
