Bubbles!

This is my first dalliance with abstract photography for quite a while.

I used a multi-coloured LCD light box (the type they use for displaying crystals in hippie shops), placed on it a clear bowl full of water and washing-up liquid, and shot from above.

The results are not quite as I'd hoped for, but I'll be trying this again with a wider aperture and a tripod sometime soon!

revenant I like them. The colours and texture are emphasised by the wide aperture you're using. If your macro narrows down to f/22 and you don't have a tripod handy, prop the camera and use the timer as a workaround.
