A Familiar Place
Excellent! I really admire those photographers who have the ability to conjure up something out of 'nothing.' One would not normally consider kitchen utensils or cooking implements to make for a great photograph - I like the way that you've looked past the 'ordinary-ness' of the scene, and combined the use of colours and textures to make a great composition. Any fool can take a picture of something pretty - it takes someone with the eye of an artist to see beauty and potential in the most mundane of settings. Well done :-)

An unusual shot, a picture of a small child sat on the toilet is not something one would usually associate with "art"! However, something about the unusual nature of the photo, lighting, and the way the first child is reflected in the mirror is very appealing.
I think it's because the photographer has really captured the moment, which is really difficult to do (especially with kids).
