I've not had time to read the story, but the photo is stunning - very creative and unique. Could easily see this as a book cover, or movie poster.
Well thank you, when you have some extra time on your hands, go ahead and try reading it...you may like my work, and you may not.....:-))))

An absolutely wonderful capture! This is the sorta thing you see in magazines, or in photoframes. The light is great, the colours/exposure spot on - well done!
Thanks for the wonderful words!

Absolutely gorgeous. It's so difficult capturing butterflies as they're flighty little things, it must have taken you ages. These are worthy of any magazine cover - I'm very envious of your macros! May I ask which macro lens you use? I'm using a 100mm Xenon macro lens at the moment, and am strugg...
Thanks a lot for all the kind words :) These shots are the best from one and a half shooting seasons: last summer, when I was learning how to shoot butterfly and this spring. So it has taken me less than 3 months to take these photos :)
As for the lens I'm using Sigma 70-300 APO DG macro (all shots from this pot except the blue butterfly were taken with it) but I'm going to change it very soon. And my next macro lens will be Tamron 90 mm f2.8 or Sigma 105 mm f2.8 so we will see :)
Thanks again!

Ah! Fantastic Macro shot! I've added it as one of my favourites - well done!
Thanks a lot! I didn't expect such popularity for this butterfly :)

I really like these. Anyone can take a picture of a flower or butterfly and it will be a pleasing shot - but it takes real skill to make drilling rigs look interesting - which you've pulled off! Congrats!
thanks. I must say that it is one of the most satisfying comments I've ever get.

I love the macro of the water droplets. Apart from the water droplet itself, pin sharp focus and depth of field, the colours are lovely. I keep meaning to try macros water droplets myself - do you have any tips? Thanks for your comments in the forum, btw.
Thanks for input. Tips on macros? Lighting, composition and aperture are far more important than in other types of shot. Try the highest Av value possible. Use the live view feature on your camera (if it has one) because the viewfinder is deceptive and have fun!
