These are a representative sample of Quake Masks made recently at Medbury School in Christchurch. Visual Arts co-ordinator Sandra Johnson had the bright idea of using Edvard Munch's expressionist painting The Scream as the guiding image for mask-making. They also used "The Scream" character from the Scary Movie series to communicate what terror and fright feels like. Terrific work!!
