tip for the day: "show up!"

Brian Murphy from KNBR 680's morning show came to visit my journalism class today. His stories about his own life as a journalist and later as a radio host made us laugh and think more about what we wanted to do in the future, whether to pursue a career as a journalist or something else, just, "show up and doors will begin to open." (not really a direct quote but i think it's close.) It was fun to listen to his stories and his insights on journalism and radio hosting.
