This photo was not taken by me. I found it online a while ago and don't have the source at hand to give credit. I am posting it because I am in it. The person at the front getting taken by the cops is a good friend of mine. Him and his girlfriend were only in Toronto for 40 minutes at this time. He was strip searched and charged with obstructing a "peace" officer. The charges were later dropped with a 50 dollar cash payment. No receipt.

These pictures were taken during the peaceful protests of the G20 in Toronto. I went there to take pictures of the event and wound up in a cage for 22 hours along with 3 of my friends. It was an interesting experience in humanity from both sides of the spectrum.
I saw the beauty in people, from all walks of life, joining together to have a voice. I saw the dominance, cruelty and submission to authority in the police officers that were present and administering unjust punishment to innocent people.
