Teen Murti (Three Statues)

Teen Murti is a memorial/monument in Central Part of Delhi. It is known more because of its proximity to the residence of India's First Prime Minister. It was raised in 1922 in memory of soldiers of the Indian cavalry and armoured regiments representing Britain in battles in Sinai, Palestine and Syria in the First World War.(am not very sure about the authenticity of this part).
Thousands of people whiz past this memorial/monument everyday. I wsih some of them would stop by to have a closer look. |
Given a choice, I won't ( rather dare not) mess around with him/his fellow soldiers.
