Sydney Nightscapes: Series 1... Part 1

2008.10.10
Spent a few hours at Darling Harbour for an evening photo shoot.

My first stop was King Street Wharf, a waterfront dining precinct offering a diverse choice of culinary experiences.

It’s a place where your front garden is one of the world’s most beautiful harbour.

The Star City Hotel and Casino is just across the harbour…

… the Australian Maritime Museum…

… Pyrmont Bridge and the hotel row.

The wharf also hosts these vintage-looking boat function halls/restaurants.

A few paces away is the Aquarium Wharf, where you’ll bump into the Sydney Wildlife World and Sydney Aquarium .

Wildlife World’s blue-lighted transparent roofing is very evident at night.

The Aquarium Wharf offers a stunning view of premium office buildings at Darling Park.

Nearby is Helm Bar… a classy and sophisticated venue. Take notice of the monorail station above it.

Where next?

Walking southwards beyond Pyrmont Bridge is Cockle Bay Wharf.

Cockle Bay Wharf is home to an alluring array of restaurants, bars, café and event venues.

Hovering whales at the entrance from Pyrmont Bridge.

A masterpiece…

This is how new developments should look like...
