Maramures is indeed probably the most interesting place to visit in Romania because here you can find most of the untainted (by the modern society) rural culture, clothing, art and celebrations. It is fun and different and the rural tourism is quite developed (People come here to spend some time at a farm and experience this type of living away from the stress and complications of a big city).
