I visited the Brandenburger Tor in December of 1987. I was 18 years old, and I had never seen a look of defeat in people's eyes like I did in the people of the DDR. Beautiful set which gives a great view of history.

Good idea and very well presented - I didn't get to visit Berlin until 1999 by which time most of the site of the Berlin wall was being built upon. Fascinating place.
