God must have been in a great mood when he made the African birds, they are so bright and exuberant, and the variety never ceases to enthrall me, watching the birds is always one of my favourite things when I go home, I love it. You wouldn't think, looking at your photo of the kingfisher, that if he turned around, you would be dazzled by turquoise wings...

I really like #3/4 - lovely detail and light. If I knew anything about birds I would know what they were, but as I don't, I don't... any idea?
