Built to Spill at Sugar. Somehow the security door dude didn't see the SLR on my back when he was patting me down. The guitar assault was from all sides of the stage. Doug barely opened his eyes. Not a smile. Not that I expected a Walmart photo smile like the Ultimate Alternative Wavers cover but damn, if I could play guitar like Doug I'd have a shit eating grin. They did an encore with Carry the Zero and I looked back at my bud Sarah and she was smiling uncontrollably as I'm sure I was. I hope they come back to these parts.
