This was a 62 second exposure at about 11:30 p.m. during a cloudy, rainy night in the local cemetery. It is unintentionally a little out of focus, but I like the effect. I did manage to get some rain drops on the lens. It's not easy trying to hold the umbrella over the camera, control a stopwatch, and hold the button down on a camera in a pitch black cemetery while it was raining! I'd do it again, though.
By the way, this image is unaltered in PS except for the cropping and copyright. |
This image had its color "enhanced" in PS. I'm not sure I like it as much as the original.

This was a 120 second exposure at about 11:30 p.m. also. My goal was to bring out more light on the girl hanging onto the cross. After two minutes the clouds didn't have the same eeriness as they did in shorter exposures. This pic has not been altered in PS aside from the cropping and copyright.

This image had its color "enhanced" in PS. To me, the blue adds a nice contrast to the cross. What do you think?

cool shots. The blue does add a nice contrast. I like #1 better though. It´s kind of spooky :-)

Photos taken two hours later can be seen here. I was able to use a flashlight to bring the headstone into focus.
