Tom Cochrane - Life Is A Highway

I drive by this spot almost everyday and it would be difficult for me to stop somewhere and set up a nice scene to snap off. So the other day [while riding shotgun], I had my camera set to ISO 1600 [hence all the grain you see] and was able to get this while moving very quickly. What I actually like about it is the pseudo framing that the arching twig/branch creates. One of these days I will shot the scene as I want to, but for now, enjoy this. Cheers.

firehorsecri Cool! Life as a higway? Oh nooo... I prefer a countryside path, a high trek on mountains... highway... mmmm... yes, for driving fast (and I like driving to travel always)... but in fast cars we cannot enjoy life... Let's do it slowly ;-)

sakaras I found it very romantic...the 1600 ISO makes it technique..

Unchained Yes, I like the twig too, it's almost like a bridge (over not troubled waters) :))

TEOMONTANA · 2009-07-15: 15:33
Jarvo Neat shot Mike. Perhaps with the pace of modern life as it is, we should all go around with our cameras set to 1600!

flamee Take time, pull over on SW 82nd Street and have a walk. It's worth it for the shot ;-)

blackhawk1552 My friend that is an amazing shot..At high ISO and small aperture opening you capture it very well! very nice timing too since this was done on a moving vehicle..WOW! Thank you for sharing!

Widcat Nice clarity and reflections. I'm always looking for a spot by the road to park and take pictures. I miss some good ones when there is no room for the car.
