The dome - Putra Mosque

The Putra Mosque, or Masjid Putra in Malay language, is the principal mosque of Putrajaya, Malaysia. Construction of the mosque began in 1997 and was completed two years later. It is located next to Perdana Putra which houses the Malaysian Prime Minister's office and man-made Putrajaya Lake.

The Seri Wawasan Bridge is one of the main bridges in Putrajaya. This futuristic cable-stayed bridge which has a sail ship appearance, connects Precinct 2 on the Core Island to the residential area of Precinct 8.

Mand-made lake cruise.

Some of the Putrajaya modern apartments and houses.

The Putrajaya Landmark or Mercu Tanda is the first landmark in Putrajaya where the site of federal administrative centre was established here in 1995. It is located in Putra Perdana Park (which happens to be the highest point in Precinct 1 of Putrajaya, Malaysia).

Part of the government office complex.

The Prime Minister's office.

Istana Darul Ehsan a.k.a Darul Ehsan Palace - one of the royal residences of the Sultan of Selangor (Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah).

Istana Melawati in Malay language or Melawati Palace is the second national palace of Malaysia's Yang di-Pertuan Agong in Putrajaya after the Istana Negara, Kuala Lumpur. It serves as a royal retreat for the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

Putrajaya - a planned city located just south of Kuala Lumpur, is the new federal administrative centre of Malaysia. Several government offices have re-located there to gain relief from the overcrowding and congestion of Kuala Lumpur, which is Malaysia's largest city. However, Kuala Lumpur still serves as Malaysia's national and legislative capital for now.

Putrajaya was founded on the 19 October 1995 and is located in the middle of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC). Putrajaya is the third Federal Territory of Malaysia. The other two being Kuala Lumpur and Labuan.

The city has only been established recently and it is still undergoing massive development. And here I share some attractions in Putrajaya.

darimrav Beautiful surroundings. Mostly cloudy in Malaysia, isn't it? Such weather often give good color results, I guess.
