Thunderbirds

READY FOR TAKE-OFF
The US Air Force Thunderbird Demonstration Squadron was in Kuala Lumpur recently (5th Oct 2009) to demonstrate their flight skills with aerial maneuvers. I was there to witnessed them together reportedly with some 100,000 spectators scattered around the old KL airport, Malaysian Air Force Base, Flight Calibration Base, MAS Engineering Training Centre, Aerod and the nearby housing areas. And here goes some of my shots taken from the Malaysia Flight Calibration Base.

TAKE-OFF
Four Thunderbirds take-off. Please bear with me that the day started with an overcast skies. So the result differs since I have to change my camera settings off and on. Most of us worried that the Thunderbirds Airshow may even be canceled.

APPROACHING
As the show proceed, the air was also saturated with the smoke from the crafts but thankfully, midway through the rain stop and a light wind was blowing. and towards the end some blue sky did break from the clouded skies.
