Glad to see your shots..they are so sharp and well composed. I recently got a 70-300 mm lens and still trying to get to used to it (I hope I am not one of those people for whom long lenses are not meant for)

great, great shots. well done! i have a tamron 70-300mm too for my alpha 300. however i seldom use it except for portraits (for its wonderful bokeh). have yet to get acquainted with its use for macros. your shots here inspired me to use my tamron more often. thanks for sharing.

It sure does need getting used to, i have a 70-300 Tamron (wish it was the canon one though, as it has stabilizer in it) and have tried it with my macro rings too, and it does work well....... once you get the hang of it :-) Fantastic shots!!
