Surprise!

We had been watching this bear behiind us eating grass (while laying down). We thought she was lazy . . . but it turned out her paw was sore.

This bear is missing it's left eye (the one in the shadows). But she was still absolutely gorgeous, and seemed fine with just one eye.

My husband surprised me on my birthday by loading me into an airplane and dropping us off at a bear viewing lodge. It was the coolest thing. I didn't suspect it at all - and was completely blown away.
