One of my neighbors a few houses down has an ocean of dandelions covering his yard, it really doesn't bother me but when the wind kicks up, a cloud of dandelion seeds cover my grass and half the block (nature is efficient isn't it?) I picked a few to take some photos of (I'm sure he won't mind) A few of you here showed me how beautiful they can be (for an annoying weed:)

These are pseudo macros, meaning I got as close as I could and then cropped them in Lightroom. I started with the 85mm but found I liked the 50mm better for these. I used the single softbox for lighting.

Unchained My garden is full of them, too, because my husband was not able last week to cut the lawn and I'm delighted to take pictures of them. Lovely shots.

McMommy they're wonderful.. I especially like the last, with the cushion of seeds and #2, something about the curve of the stem :) Dandelions are great, not annoying, look how much entertainment they provide, kids love them, and you can make wine with them! ... what's not to like? ... and let's not forget all those wishes!
