Hi, I am back for a night and going back tomorrow morning. Have to work this weekend. I havent been able to get any good pictures this week. Blame th ehot weather or even the work or severe dehydration... :p

These are shots from my college's fest. Played by my friends and colleagues. This was my friend's 1st stage performance and all us friends were there to cheer him. He was quite tensed most in his earlier songs but ended up enjoying at the end.

Anyway it did not prevent me from taking any pictures.

I did learn things though.
Low light sucks, esp since no flash.
50mm f1.8 is good but reach sucks.
Ended up using a zoom lens but slow. I did get decent shots but what is needed is a fast tele prime. Someone in a charitable mood?

I'm with you, man~low light sucks. I tried last night at theatre, but found my self completely limited by equipment, conditions and placement. Regarding your shots-I like what I'm seeing here!
