The hills are alive....

with the sound of music......
I went hill-walking. The walk began at the foot of the hill at Narkanda (which is known to tourists for its ski slopes) and ended at Hatu at a Durga Temple.
The air was cold and so sharp you could cut paper with it. The silence was peppered only by bird-call. Met a friendly trekker on the way & shared a chocolate with him.
Very peaceful-making.

Oh, I love it up there... the way you describe it I feel like I'm there, I can hear the temple bells. *cries*
