Food, glorious food!
The pictures above show the things traditionally made for Holi.
Spent a good part of the day making this stuff. Feel a bit sick as tasted everything at least once (not strictly necessary). Must say that photographing food is utter fun.
Not in the pic, strawberry tarts made by P. Unheard of for Holi, but hey, happy-making...

The thingie in no. 1 is interesting. It has an outer foil made (in equal parts) of semolina & gram flour. The filling is a combination of fresh coconut & coriander with a dash of salt. Deep fried & served with curd. It's my most favourite dish. SoulCurry · 2009-03-10: 14:15
