These are the pictures of my friend R's home. I am not an intuitive person, but felt very soothed and calmed, in large part by her presence, and in some part by the house.

Beautiful, very colonial isn't it? The surroundings are stunning too. I think that the title should have to do with the emotions that you felt there. I can only imagine what a place like that would do with me.

This series gives the house a strong, maternal presence. Like that great aunt or grandmother you go to and sit quietly next too- and the answer comes without either of you exchanging a word.

I have a friend like that. Her house is like a coccoon. I often call it The Asylum. I would have called this series Asylum.
