Tourists are endlessly entertaining. The couple being photographed got dressed up in faux-Kashmiri outfits. You can see how uncomfortable they are holding each other in public. But it will make a lovely holiday memory eventually.

The old door in fantastic!! I think the being akward by holding in public is also fascinating, but for different reasons.

This reminds me of a friend of mine who actually collects old doors. He has a huge shed full of them, trying to restore the best pieces for his summer cottage.

I took way too many photos of old doors in Iran, I'm mesmerized by older knobs and locks and hinges. Your door shot is great.

I love old doorways as well. I have an ongoing project where I take pictures of doors wherever I travel.
