This statue of "helpful policeman" stands on the Mall**. I am grossed out by the statue because, to me, it looks like the policeman is breaking the little girl's neck in some artful martial-arts way!!!


**The Mall is not a Mall as known in the modern urban sense, but an open, kilometre-long shopping area in Shimla that's closed for vehicular traffic. Aka, the place everyone goes to at some point in the day, because there's nowhere else to go!
