An altar table at my showroom, after a little bit of photoshop

I was struck by this image as I got into my car from the gym. I had just been swimming indoors, and walked outside to see this pool so beautifully lit.

A pretty tree, some snow, and quite a few strands of christmas lights. This is a little sitting area at my former and soon to be again current university. There's the trace of human life, but there wasn't really anyone present, except the maintenance guy.

Another area at my university. Icicles remind me of growing up in these log cabins in Colorado. We used to get icicles so long that they became attached to the ground. It was magic.

The sight of light hitting ice amongst the tree branches in the winter will forever be more beautiful to me then the largest diamond.

I'm really stimulated by patterns and textures found in the ordinary and mundane.

Even with the cold, I thought this doorway looked so inviting. Like a safe haven from the elements. It's actually the pharmacy building...

Some various pictures I took throughout the course of my day today. I shoot with a Canon S3, and I'm learning that I have no idea how to take pictures with it at night. When I use the flash I often flood my subject, and without my pictures end up extremely grainy. Setting aside my lack of technical knowledge, and proper technique, I hope you enjoy my thought process....
