Our storm wasn't as bad as many other places but there were high winds (reported at gusting to 100km/h) and power was out for about 8 hours due to several trees on hydro lines. We were lucky that ur oak tree stopped a large ash from doing much more than resting on our roof. Without it, our roof might have had a hole in it and our deck would be fire wood.
