We put on about 9700km and visited rural Ontario, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and back to northern Ontario.

As you can see from our photos over the last 6 weeks, we saw a lot of beautiful scenery,from wilderness to mountains, flatlands and prairies to buttes and hoodoos.

We experienced 3 weeks of very hot weather of above 30C and topping out at 43C (86F to 110 F) and not even getting below 30C at night.

We missed drought and fires (but could smell the smoke) in the US and missed tornadoes in Saskatchewan.

We were able to hike gorgeous trails along waterfalls and gorges and to kayak rivers, lakes and reservoirs, as well as Lake Superior.

We are very tired and happy to be home, but at the same time energized by all that we experienced and ready for our next adventure.
