Mist

2007.02.26

Today I found myself in the beautiful setting in the morning fog, but was unable to get far enough away to get a broad shot. The last image is a panorama made from the first five pictures, before doing some minor colour post-procession, with a great little piece of freeware called autostitch.

jimbodownie No 2 is beautiful. Bang on. Very mysterious.

jimbodownie Magnus, having read your profile all I would say is be more selective.
You have great shots of trees, but which is the greatest shot of trees?
Break it down.
Be brave.
Choose the shot you think is best.
Especially when they are so similar.
That way you'll be in control.
Not the viewer.
Keep it up. The work is good and so is your vision.

aggiechristine I like the second shot best, wonderful lines moving out of the frame. I agree with jimbodownie, unless your purpose of presenting different shots is to view them through other people's eyes, which sometimes is very informative.

stakato Thank you very much for your feedback. In this case, I left a lot of smilar shots in partly to illustrate my keeness about the autostitch software--but mainly, I guess, just because I couldn't decide, and liked the lot. I won't remove any of the images from this post, but will definetely consider in the future.
