Ohhh, Carl Sagan.. that guy gave a lot of motivation to me and made me want to know lotta stuff.. I wacth his videos (Cosmos) since I was 10 years old and never get tired of them. Hey, you made me look! There is no dot in tha first one, geeez.. but I spotted the one in the second one.. but I´m not tlling what it is.. @membrillo: it's just a dot. nothing more. nothing less. as for carl sagan, i must admit that i'm not so super fond of his writings. he must have been an inspiring character, otherwise there wouldn't be so much respect around for him. one thing that strikes me the most about him is that he and his fellows actually succeeded in convincing nasa to turn around that spacecraft and look back at earth - for catching the earth as a smear of a pixel inmidst a lot of grainy camera noise. and gave everyone the creepy feeling of how insignificant we are (which of course we are, but who wants to admit?). - now, that i call a magician. my two black pics here (actually i've just produced them with paintshop pro *grins*) are meant to be a memorial for such magic. stormfish · 2007-01-17: 15:09
