the following will be a series about streets that run through landscapes. they all have been taken somewhere in the U.S, during several trips in 1999-2000.

why this series?

we don't have streets like this here. switzerland is too small to allow it, to mountainous, to winding. we also don't have this kind of light nor the spirit that expresses itself in connecting two points with a straight line.

any comments, of course, highly welcome.
