recently, i thought a lot about alternative identities and development paths.

when i was young, i seriously thought i might become a professional piano player. i even recorderd some "compositions" that were more or less improvised jazz and blues pieces... even though my piano skills were, honestly, limited. this picture i took while doing these recordings... in the full consciousness of producing a "historical document" in case that i really should become famous... ;-)

now, i haven't become a piano player, but work as an ordinary cleark in some ordinary office and stare at a screen all day or sift through endless paper files.

i wonder what this guy that i took the picture of 1984 would have thought about himself if he knew what he'd become.

change? maybe just moving along.

What would interest me more what that guy thinks now about himself from 1984 because it would also tell who is him now as he is not a different person, hasnt changed but yes, just moved along the path that were shaped by his thoughts. And beside staring that screen he might have more chance and time to realize his dreams and live a fascinating complete life than a pianist would... as the coolest drummer:-) And by the way pro pianists`s lives sucks too :-) (just trust hungarians about music:-))) longimanus · 2009-03-13: 16:16

Some artists have fascinating lives but I have always thought that such artists are those that would have made fascinating clerks too, hadn't they had the opportunity of developping their skills. Remember: Arthur Miller used to be an USA Mail clerk... :) ainhoator · 2009-03-17: 04:16
