modern malaysians spend more time in aircon environment than any average american. this doesn't necessarily mean that they shop more; most boutiques in fact look deserted. except for those selling food; here you can find any crowd of bystanders at any time.

i think I will never understand why people prefer these impersonal, cold temples of consumption to the charm of little shops. your first picture of this set is like a symbol of what i love big cities for, all their lights and colors, density, crazyness... it is calling out for being edited (I^ll send you my version of it :)
