the fascination of walking the same path every night (because our dog demands it) lies in the little variations that i notice over time; places slowly move, degrade, are built up, evolve into a different meaning than, let's say, a year ago.

we're all too certain of reality as it is; i try to learn, at least part time, that reality is a constant "can-be, can-be-not" oscillation. while this is very impractical for living a constant, completely unchallenged life, it is also the reason why it's fun.

I completely agree with the sentiment.... the thought of living a "constant, completely unchallenged life" would fill me with dread!

Also, I really like the low angle picture (#1) - interesting perspective.

ps: alles ist kunst? well, from certain viewpoint yes, the word art is a term of value, that reflects approval or distaste of those using the term and so art is everything what we call art, as for certain reasons we find these interesting, exciting, enriching...yet I`d be curious who`s found this poor concrete figure exciting and enriching enough to call it art.
