Repulse Bay

I went for a walk today, since the weather has improved. Warm and sunny and little wind.
I am down on the bay looking up at the new medical center, under construction. The old centre is the round green and brown building on the left. It is very small and crowded for the size of the community

Some very old graves here but none have names remaining on the crosses.
The airport runway is just down at the bottom of the hill

One of the school teachers runs a dogsledding business. We stopped by to see his huskies. Beautiful dogs

This road leads north to the water supply for the hamlet. Trucks drive up here constantly to keep the hamlet supplied with water. Both water and sewage are trucked in and out of the houses on a regular basis
