The sky returned to a more typical summer look in the Raleigh area this morning, but the dusty view in the top image, taken 20 minutes after sunrise proper, suggests smoke from the fires to the east is still present in the atmosphere. A cold front's approaching, bringing changes in tomorrow's sunrise sky.
The other images in today's series represent a sampling of my sunrise shots from the months of February and March 2008. Enjoy!
