With nearly cloudless skies across most of the morning sky, the color in today's Raleigh area sunrise... rich hues of rusty orange... was focused in the fist-high layer parked on the horizon, seen in the top image just as the sun emerged, and with more pinks a few minutes earlier, above. Sweet!
